AWS resource reference

VPC

A virtual network owned by an AWS Account. VPC is the canonical owner of the network resources placed within its subnets.

In Atlas

A virtual network owned by an AWS Account. VPC is the canonical owner of the network resources placed within its subnets.

Use editor controls for selection, inspector drafts and action menus. Creating or editing this design data does not create an AWS resource.

Build the network

From the selected VPC, action choices create Public, Private or Database Subnet, Internet Gateway or Security Group. Manage DB subnet groups opens the data-only DB subnet group manager. A subnet is a visual host for several resources whose cloud owner remains the VPC.

Shared resource fields

Resource identity, naming and tags follow the shared field guide. Parent ownership summaries are read-only; changing visual placement does not rewrite ownership. Apply commits an inspector draft to the design; Save persists the design. Values loaded from a saved design may differ from the bare defaults below.

AWS reference

Official AWS service guide explains the service. AWS property reference is a comparison reference. Atlas is an offline design model; its fields are not a promise of direct AWS API/CloudFormation equivalence or regional availability.
