Invitations and members

Invite people, accept with the right identity and change membership safely.

Send and manage invitations

  1. As an organisation Owner, open Invitations and New invitation. Enter Recipient email and Organisation role (Viewer, Editor or Owner; Viewer is the default). Choose Create and send invitation.
  2. The list separates Invitation status from Email delivery. Queued or submitted email is not proof that the person received it or joined. Use Search recipient, Invitation status, Previous and Next to find an invitation.
  3. Choose Manage. Pending invitations can be resent or revoked after confirmation. Changing recipient/role uses Reissue invitation; an expired invitation can be reissued or revoked. Resend and reissue invalidate earlier links; links expire seven days after issue.
  4. Accepted invitations are managed through Members. A Failed, Bounced, Complained or Suppressed delivery status does not itself revoke an invitation credential. Report delivery problems with the visible status; do not post invitation links publicly.

Accept an invitation

Open the invitation email link, complete sign-in and review Accept organisation invitation. Acceptance requires the intended verified email identity. If the signed-in identity is wrong, use the account-switch action shown by the acceptance screen and sign in as the intended recipient. Acceptance is explicit; opening a link alone does not grant membership.

Use the newest link after a resend/reissue. For an expired, revoked, already-used or mismatched invitation, follow the displayed result and ask the Owner for the appropriate next action. Do not repeatedly try a stale link or assume an email-address edit repairs identity mismatches.

Manage members

  1. As an Owner, open Members, search or page through Organisation members, then Manage member.
  2. Review Organisation role, Access status and Identity status. Choose Owner, Editor or Viewer and Membership status Active, Suspended or Revoked. Save member and review the confirmation.
  3. Revoked memberships cannot be reactivated: a new invitation is required. Revoking membership does not remove independent deployment grants. Review both when withdrawing access.
  4. Leaving a dirty administration dialog asks whether to discard changes. A failed mutation is not a successful access change; refresh the current details before retrying.
