AWS resource reference
RDS DB subnet group
A managed data-only VPC resource, not a physical prefab. Open Manage DB subnet groups from VPC or RDS.
In Atlas
A managed data-only VPC resource, not a physical prefab. Open Manage DB subnet groups from VPC or RDS.
Use editor controls for selection, inspector drafts and action menus. Creating or editing this design data does not create an AWS resource.
Create, edit and remove a group
Open Manage DB subnet groups. Create or edit a child group, select compatible subnets and Apply the child editor. These changes remain staged in the parent transaction until the parent inspector’s Apply succeeds. Child Cancel discards that child draft; parent Cancel discards all pending parent changes.
When opened from RDS, selecting/creating/editing the group also stages the RDS association. A group still referenced by RDS or canonical associations/dependencies cannot be deleted; remove those references through supported controls first. Do not assume deleting a visible item cascades safely.

AWS reference
Official AWS service guide explains the service. AWS property reference is a comparison reference. Atlas is an offline design model; its fields are not a promise of direct AWS API/CloudFormation equivalence or regional availability.
